Feature Overview
Permissions for objectives brings secure collaboration and control to the Strategy space. Until now, objectives were transparent to all users in an account and only the creator could make edits. With this release, teams can now manage who can view, edit and own objectives, ensuring sensitive strategic data stays visible only to the right people.
This update aligns the Strategy space with permissions already available for other product areas, making it easier for organizations to collaborate confidently while maintaining data integrity and governance.
What’s Included
- Private by Default: New objectives are now private to their creator until shared.
- Flexible Sharing: Grant view or edit access to individual users, teams, or the entire account.
- Ownership Control: Transfer ownership of an Objective directly from the share modal.
- Better Strategic Roadmap Story-telling:
- Roadmaps & Portfolios display only the objectives related to their work
- Archived objectives are indicated visually
